About N2 Recovery

Hello,

I'm Jim S. The statement below, made by my good friend Kimberly F., so completely and eloquently expresses my own feelings that I could hardly hope to ever put it better myself. I am honored to know Kim and proud to be able to offer the same vision by making her entire product line available through my website, N2Recovery.com. I hope that I may be of assistance to you in finding that one exact thing you are looking for. And, while you are here, please feel free to browse our ever expanding areas and resources. Thank you for letting me be of service, and welcome to N2 Recovery!

Carrying the message... With recovery gifts.

"I love celebrating recovery. I love even more the fact that God has led me to make recovery gifts available to my fellows, nation wide. I like looking into the eyes of my patrons and seeing pride, hope, and gratitude on their faces. I love watching a parent's heart swell with pride when he or she comes in to purchase a chip to acknowledge a recovery anniversary for a child. I like to see the way a husband's face beams with hope when he buys a recovery card for his wife's first thirty days, or the gratitude a wife feels when her family is reunited in recovery by sharing a morning meditation book together. This is great part of my 12-step work: assisting and helping to celebrate this new way of life by offering recovery gifts and tokens. These serve to remind us where we have come from, how far we've come, and who our primary partner is now (the GOD of our own understanding)

"When I received my 30-day chip, I felt flooded with astonishment and happiness. I didn't know how I stayed sober and clean, but I held that chip in my hand, and suddenly recovery felt real. For me, the first year of recovery was marked by getting my chips, 30- 60- 90 days, six months, then nine months. All I did was look forward to getting the next chip. I was willing to do whatever it took!

"I also read my 24 Hours-a-Day book faithfully every day. My meditation books, used daily, slowly changed the day to day negative thinking I seemed to posses, giving me a new outlook, altering my attitude and helping lead me to faith and trust in God.

"There are so many examples of how recovery merchandise has helped people in the program.

"Meditation books and other 12 step books have provided great tools to thousands of people. We offer books to family members who just don't understand the kinds of problems people must encounter in recovery. Have you ever been to a flea market or a swap meet and seen a complete stranger wearing a recovery T-shirt or 12-step jewelry piece? I don't know about you, but my heart fills with love and a wide smile comes over me. When folks are taking a long trip and for commuters, we can provide folks with a meeting on tape for those times when you just can't get to a meeting.

"This is the great good of the products I can offer. When I see a bumper sticker on the back of a car, my whole attitude is altered in a split second. Once again I am reminded, I am in recovery. I once heard of a woman, traveling all alone, scared about flying and taking a trip by herself. As she was checking in at the airport, she happened to see a recovery button on someone's luggage. She was able to find her fellow in recovery and sit next to him on a long flight. They shared an instantaneous fellowship. Her fears lifted and she had a wonderful flight, to boot.

"I once sold a book to a devastated mother at her wits' end. She had a daughter with an eating disorder called anorexia. Several months later, the mother came in to tell me, 'Thank you for being here. You sold me a book that helped me understand my daughter's illness, so in turn I could help my daughter. She is in recovery and our whole family is in therapy together now. It's changed our lives, and it began with my reading that book'.

"The connection our merchandise provides is the reason I do what I do. I believe so strongly that we need to leave little footprints of who we are and we do this anonymously by wearing a button. I know that every piece of jewelry, T-shirt, hat, chip, lapel pin or bumper sticker I utilize in my life allows me to stand out to my fellows in recovery and leads me to other members so we can assist each other in our recovery. I am proud to be of assistance and feel it's my responsibility to show I am a part of recovery. I am available to carry the message through offering 12 step and recovery gifts and helping my fellows celebrate their recovery."
