Alcoholics Anonymous ( AA ) and Al-Anon. Narcotics Anonymous ( NA ) and Nar-Anon. Cocaine Anonymous ( CA ) and Co-Anon. Gamblers Anonymous ( GA ) and Gam-Anon. Sex Addicts Anonymous ( SAA ) and Codependents of Sexual Addiction ( COSA ). Codependents Anonymous ( CoDA ) and Adult Children of Alcoholics ( ACA or ACoA ). Marijuana ( MA ), Overeaters ( OA ), and Nicotine Anonymous.
There are many, many, MANY available recovery groups to choose from. And none of them are any better, or worse, than any other. In fact, many are identical for all intents and purposes. The group who's message speaks most to your heart, that is the right group for you. We are all here to help you. And anybody else who reaches out their hand in need. To give to others the same help that was so freely given to us. For this, we are responsible.
